  • keyboarding

  • networking knowledge
  • vocabulary
  • Internet safety (social networking)
  • copyright and MLA
  • designing and giving presentations (rule of 7s)

Grade Level Discussions
  • Members met in grade level groups to read and discuss standards and ways to approach the teaching of the standards.
  • Notes will be provided by members.
  • What can be taught by classroom teachers?
  • What should be taught by technology teacher?
  • How do the standards break down by grade level?
  • Where do the tech standards fit into the classroom curriculum?
  • Possible mini lessons provided to teachers
  • Use of laptops for mini lessons
